I wouldn't have know that I finished the manga today if I didn't add it on MAL. I thought that there must've been something behind it, but guess, what, that was it. The story that didn't even have anything to offer, underwent a goddamn acceleration. Towards the end, the story underwent an acceleration. The mangaka pushes you straight into action and from that point on you're in a rollercoaster that's only going hard downwards with no rest, meaning that there's no time to rest and therefore no time to enjoy the hype (no light without darkness yknow). The story and worldbuilding are so incredibly weak.

As this work is still ongoing, my review may change later. While rating this I've pulled out my shounen wow-those-fights-are-so-cool heart in order to review this as fair as possible for the mangaka. The slime & harpy are pushed to the background to make way for the more interesting mermaid & spider.

I hope to see more of this otherwise, he's just the ladies whipping boy/plaything.

Kurusu is the usual wimp to let the girls run him however, he does stand up to the girls once & even has a chance to defend their honor. Miia reminds me too much of Lum from Urusei Yatsura. Sorry but, in this gal's opinion, way too many boob shots.

My review: Okay, outside of the girls being monsters, this is a standard harem manga with more than enough fan service. When the rules change from a "hands-off" policy between the species to Kurusu must choose a bride from his roommates, how wild can things really get? As Miia's homestay is viewed as a success, Kimihito finds himself hosting a busty centaur, a flighty harpy, a sexy slime girl, a dreamy mermaid & a kinky spider lady. Sexy lamia Miia is sweet, has a cute habit of calling Kurusu "darling" & is super strong. His house has been chosen as a homestay by the government. Story: Kurusu Kimihito is a typical japanese high schooler who suddenly has his world turned upside down thanks to the "Cultural Exchange Between Species Act".
